Well, just two weeks before the line up is due to be announced, it seems to have been leaked across the internet.
It looks like whoever works on this magazine couldn't wait to share the infomation with the masses.
Now lets hope this is not a fake, because this is one of the best Reading line ups in years.
After last years slight disappointment in headliners, will we be given three massive acts this year, The Cure, Kasabian and Foo Fighters.
Take a look below and let us know what you think of it!
You can take a closer look at the line up here - http://www.tinthepark.com/2012lineup.html
At first glance you have to say they have catered for a vast variety of musical tastes, but the big one shouting out at you is The Stone Roses.
If this festival wasn't so far away for us southerners, I would be making the journey.
Let us know what you think of the line up.
Cheers.
Papa Roach yesterday revealed the new video for their latest track 'One Track Mind'.
One Track Mind is taken from the bands 7th studio album 'Time for Annihilation...On the Record and On the Road'.
This was a mini 5 track album with a whole load of live tracks as well, it's well worth a listen. You can find my review of it here - http://www.iknowasong.com/1/post/2010/09/papa-roach-time-for-innihilation-reviewed.html
The band are currently working on their 8th studio album, which they hope to release towards the back end of this year. The ever evolving Papa Roach are one of the best live acts around and their music has changed well with the times.
For more info on the band, follow them on Facebook;

Florence & The Machine - Shake it Out (Benny Benassi Mix)
Not only is this on of the hottest tracks of 2011 from one of the hottest acts on earth, it's been given the clubroom treatment by Italian electro-house God, Benny Benassi!

Katie Melua - The Flood (Jakwob Remix)
After rising to fame off the back of an Ellie Goulding remix, you'd be right to expect big things from Lincoln's own James Jacob and he delivers with this one; a subtle mature creeper for dubstep fans with a refined palate.

Friendly Fires - Blue Cassette (Tiga Remix)
Some of the remixers we're incuding today are bigger than the original artist! And here's no exception with Tiga delivering his brand of gritty acid-eque techno that I struggle to define with words. Give this a listen (maybe a few listens if you're not yet a Tiga true-blood) and all will become clear. This original track was the highlight of FF's 'Pala' album for me and so I hoped this remix wouldn't disappoint - it doesn't.

Scroobius Pip - The Struggle (Doctor P Remix)
It's no secret that we have a bit of a man crush on old Scroobius here at iknowasong.com, and as much as it pained us to hear that he's taking a hiatus from Dan le Sac we continue to support everything that he does. Even so, we are partial to a remix of his original works, especially where Circus Records' head honcho is involved. You may be well accustomed with Doctor P's filth, and if that's your poison, download now -->

Skream - Anticipate (Netsky Remix)
I'd go as far to say that these two artists were the hottest names in the dubstep and D 'n' B genres respectively. Ignoring the cliche, both of these artists continue to evade labelling, doing different things with every release yet maintaining a rare quality. This is jump up D 'n' B for you all, a fitting note on which to end this post on considering you should already be grinning from ear to ear having downloaded all of these tracks! Enjoy. No kidding, I literally cannot find out ANYTHING about this track. 'Zodiac' doesn't have a facebook, myspace, the youtube video links have no leads and this track has been uploaded to soundcloud by someone who isn't Zodiac!?
If you have any information as to the whereabouts of Zodiac please let me know 'cos we need to shake hands! This is my cup of tea, jump up d 'n' b, absolute euphoric mentalness. As soon as I know more, you will know more - in the meantime, download this track, seriously! Tree Boy xoxoxo

Alex Clare - Too Close (Distance Remix)
Ok, so we may have sat on this track for 9 months, but that doesn't mean we haven't been smashing it out all that time. Brought to us by the team at liveforthefunk.com ... For what my opinion is worth, and nothwithstanding the cliche - this is dubstep - this is what it's all about, this is why we love it...

Steve Aoki ft. Rivers Cuomo - Earthquakey People (Alvin Risk Remix)
Like a few artists we've featured on the site, I couldn't really give a toss for Steve Aoki either way, despite how famous he is. I don't resent his popularity, I just feel it'd be far more earned if his originals sounded a lot more like this and not some cat-kicking monotonous, torturous mass dancefloor appealing shite...

Another massive spot from the Daftwho lads. If I recall correctly, the sample in this track is from Looney Tunes' own 'Elmer Fudd'. It's mental, seriously mental, and I love it...

"I listen to this track morning and night and whenever else I get a chance... This, without doubt, is something I'm truly in love with"
I am SO excited for this weeks song of the week. Honestly, some weeks the song I've picked has simply been the song I've slightly preferred to others that week but THIS track I listen to morning and night and whenever I get a chance - this, without doubt is something I'm in truly in love with.
I have an almost unhealthy passion for UK garage and it's a curse I share equally with my co-writer. Like many of the good things in life, decent UK garage is very rare... And this track is the rarest of rare.
Mosca is a London based producer generating heat on radio 1 and receiving regular airplay on Rinse FM. You can catch a heap of his tracks, all available for purchase, right here at his soundcloud. 'Bax' is just a B-SIDE to his other monster tune 'done me wrong'!
WARNING - you're going to need some tidy cans / speakers to feel the full benefit of this... 'Bax' has a naughty bassline that the laptops won't translate. If you needed an excuse to wear those oversized overhead fat arse dj headphones in public, this is it. Enjoy. Tree Boy xoxoxoxo
